Sinclair Community College and Miami Dade College are recipients of the League for Innovation's Innovation of the Year Award, along with 33 other community colleges. The award is given to colleges whose innovations reflect "extraordinary achievement and the spirit of innovation and experimentation in the community college on which the League was founded." The award-winning innovations at Sinclair Community College and Miami Dade College are, respectively, Pioneering Online Science Labs and Single Stop at Miami Dade College. Winners are offered the opportunity to present at League conferences and to share their stories through League publications.
