Our approach has evolved as we ventured through this process where we adapted and redirected our course as needed. Take a look back at where we started in The Completion by Design Concept Paper to we were mid-way through the initiative in Designing for Completion: the practice and progress of the Completion by Design initiative to see just how far we have come.
The Completion by Design Concept Paper (2010)
This paper details the three phases of the initiative as it was originally conceived, including an overview of the grantee (or managing partner) selection process, a description of planning and implementation at participating colleges, and key learning objectives, roles, terms and definitions.
Designing for Completion: The practice and the progress of the Completion by Design initiative (2013)
This mid-initiative report gives a snapshot of the progress that CBD colleges have made since the initiative began in 2011. It is a unique opportunity to share emerging lessons and to open a dialogue between those engaged in completion-focused institutional transformation.
